TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho earned its first Scenic West Athletic Conference win Saturday with a 25-12, 25-13, 25-11 win over Colorado Northwestern.
Both
Dorina Bogar and
Kelsy Stanger each had double-figure kills. Bogar finished with 11 and Stanger had 10. Bogar also had four service aces and six digs.
Jenna Riley had a team-high 28 assists and added eight digs. Defensively
Hazuna Akishige led the Golden Eagles with 17 digs. She also had three aces.
In the middle
Mina Benucci hit a .714, finishing with six kills, one error on seven attempts.
Nichole Butt posted a team-high four blocks.
CSI, 6-12 overall and 1-2 in conference play, hosts Snow College and USU Eastern next week.
