TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The CSI Women's soccer club was defeated by #5 Snow College in their final game of their inaugural season Saturday afternoon, 4-0.
The Golden Eagles hung tough with the top team in the Scenic West, conceding just one lone goal in the first half, in the 18th minute. The flood gates opened for the Badgers about midway through the second half as they were able to score three times in the matter of seven minutes to blow it op to a 4-0 lead. Southern Idaho had a few great attacks and chances in the first half as they got six shots up in the first half compared to only one in the second half.
Emily Murphy led the way for the Golden Eagles with two shots. It was the first ever sophomore day in program history, where three CSI sophomores were honored,
Ansley Kerley,
Rylee Wardle, and
Paityn McCandless.
