TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The CSI Women's soccer club had their best offensive game of the year as they rolled to a 5-0 victory over Pacific Northwest Christian on Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles had their foot on the gas the whole game as they out shot the Gladiators 40-2. The Golden Eagles shared the wealth, as five different Golden Eagles found the back of the net.
Araya Wood got the party started with a header goal off of a corner kick, followed by
Itzel Hernandez in the 19th minute to give CSI a 2-0 lead at the half. Southern Idaho added three more goals in the second half from
Jayva Hicks,
Kenna Fransen and
Jessika Lassen.
Ansley Kerley assisted two of the goals, while
Rylee Wardle and Illiana Zaldivar each had an assist as well. Southern Idaho ends a six match winless streak and moves to 5-5-2 overall on the season.Â
