TWIN FALLS, Idaho - Colorado State University will be getting a dynamic rebounder for the 2024-2025 season with the addition of
Kaylee Headrick from CSI Women's Basketball.
The sophomore guard/forward is 46 rebounds away from setting the all-time career rebounding record. Headrick stands at 524. The record is 570.
She is averaging 9.9 rebounds per game this season and 9.0 per game last season so also has a chance to break the career rebound per game record as well
Headrick is a big part of the 21st-ranked Golden Eagles success this season. She leading the team in points (12.4 ppg), rebounds (9.9 rpg) blocks (0.9 bpg) and steals (1.6 spg). She ia also third on the team in assists (2.1 apg).
She also was a big part of helping CSI to the NJCAA Division I Final Four last season. Headrick earned Region 18 First-Team honors as well as NJCAA Honorable Mention All American accolades.
"We are excited to have Kaylee join the Ram family," said CSU Head Coach Ryun Williams. "Kaylee is one tough basketball player, loves rebounding the ball and has nice versatility on both ends of the floor. Kaylee will join us from one of the best Junior College programs in the country and will have a lot of college games under her belt when she arrives. She has played both inside and on the perimeter for Southern Idaho and that will transition nicely to our system."
Colorado State competes in the Mountain West Athletic Conference and are currently 12-5 overall this season. Former Golden Eagle player
