TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The top-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team relied on the play of Robert Whaley to defeat USU Eastern 87-70 Thursday and remain undefeated at 26-0 on the season.
Whaley finished the game with 33 points and 11 rebounds. Teammate Isaiah Moses added 19 points, six rebounds and three assists, while Nate Meithof had 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Joel Armotrading, who is always a big presence inside, posted eight points, six rebounds and four blocks.
CSI, which holds a 2.5 game lead in the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings, travels to Snow College Wednesday before hosting Southern Nevada next Saturday. The Badgers defeated Salt Lake CC Thursday night.
