CSI uses big second half to beat Laramie County

Box Score CHEYENNE, WYo. - The 17th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team trailed by eight at the half and by 10 late in the third quarter but scored 50 second-half points to beat the Laramie County 81-66 Saturday in a non-conference matchup.
Four Golden Eagles reached double-figure scoring led by Jamisyn Heaton's 20. She also had four rebounds and five steals. Kaylee Headrick added 15 points, nine rebounds and two steals and Brayli Jenks had 11 points, three assists and two steals. The final player reaching double digits was Kennedy Gillette with 10 along with two rebounds and two steals. 
CSI shot 67 percent from the field in the second half and 50 percent from long range.
The Golden Eagles now 14-3 overall, host Treasure Valley for their next game Jan. 2, 2024.
