YUMA, Ariz. - The 10th-ranked College of Southern Idaho defeated Arizona Western 25-21, 25-18, 25-20 Monday in a district playoff to earn a spot in the NJCAA National Tournament Nov. 15-18 in Hutchinson, Kan.
Annie Nikolnikova finished the match with nine kills, five block assists and two service aces. Alizaysha Sope had 11 kills, while
Val Sarti-Cipriani posted six kills and five block assists.
Janke Pretorius had a team-high 30 assists.
CSI will enter the national tournament with a 25-8 record.
The NJCAA will anounce the seeding for the tournament Thursday.
