TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 21st-ranked College of Southern Idaho struggled to stop a hot-shooting Northeastern Men's Basketball Team, losing 81-73 Saturday in the Rob Green Classic.
Northeastern shot a blistering 51 percent from the field, 53 percent from long range and 82.4 percent from the free-throw line.
On the flip side, the Golden Eagles managed just 12.5 percent from beyond the 3-point line.
Asim Jones led CSI with 20 points and seven rebounds.
Walker Timme added 13 points and
Jaylon Johnson had 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals. Both
Britton Berrett and
Shahid Muhammad had eight points apiece.
The Golden Eagles, now 7-4, travel to Iowa next week.
