TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The eighth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team trailed by as much as 10 points, fighting all the way back to a tie the game in the fourth, but couldn't pull out the win, falling to Northeastern JC 55-53 Friday in the Rob Green Classic.
The Golden Eagles shot just 28 percent from the field, 13 percent from 3-point distance and 60 percent from the free-throw line.
Only two CSI players finished in double-figure scoring, led by
Kaylee Headrick with 16 points. She added 13 rebounds and two blocks.
Jayden McNeal posted 15 points and five rebounds.
Izzy Arave led the Golden Eagles in assists with four and
Makeili Ika had seven rebounds and four points.
CSI, 7-2, host Central Wyoming Saturday.
