Box Score MESA, Ariz. - The fourth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team struggled offensively, ultimately falling to Mesa 63-60 Saturday on the road.
Mesa is ranked sixth in the NJCAA Division II polls.
The Golden Eagles shot just 35 percent from the field and 22 percent from long range.
Kaylee Headrick led CSI with 19 points and seven rebounds.
Makeili Ika added 10 points and five rebounds.
Jamisyn Heaton finished with nine points and two steals and
Mariah Mons had six points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals. Off the bench
Taylor Johnson was the Golden Eagles second-leading rebounder with six.
CSI, 7-1 overall, returns home to host the Rob Green Classic next Friday and Saturday.
