TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The fourth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team won its fifth straight game Friday, beating North Idaho College 81-41 in the Coca Cola Invitational.
The Golden Eagles outscored the Cardinals 47-17 in the second half to pull away. CSI finished the game shooting 52 percent from the field and 42 percent from long range.
Kaylee Headrick led the team with 18 points, 12 rebounds and three steals.
Jamisyn Heaton added a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds along with three assists.
Other players finishing in double figures included
Jayden McNeal with 12 and
Elena Birkeland with 10 points.
Mariah Mons was solid across the board with five points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
CSI takes on Florida Southwestern Saturday at 5 p.m.
