TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 10th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team beat 14th-ranked USU Eastern Saturday 25-23, 25-21, 25-20 to finish its Scenic West Athletic Conference regular season.
The Golden Eagles will take the two seed into the Region 18 Tournament Wednesday and will play USUE at 7 p.m. at Salt Lake CC.
CSI's Annie Nikolnikova led the way Saturday for the Golden Eagle win, finishing with 12 kills and two blocks. Alizaysha Sopi added 11 kills and nine digs, while Val Sarti-Cipriani had nine kills and five digs. 
Janke Pretorius had a team-high 36 assists along with 11 digs and four kills. Defensively Chinaru Inoue had 16 digs and added seven assists and two service aces.
The Golden Eagles finished the regular season with a 23-7 overall record and an 8-2 SWAC record, taking second.
