TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The second-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team shot 53 percent from the field and 46 percent from long range to beat Colorado Northwestern 112-62 Saturday in a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup.
The Golden Eagles were 16-of-35 from the 3-point line, led by
Britton Berrett's 5-of-7.
Six CSI players finished the game in double-digit scoring. Berrett finished with 20 points,
Isaiah Moses had 14,
Hasan Abdul-Hakim scored 12,
Kasen Carpenter 11 and
Robert Whaley and
Asim Jones each had 10 points.
The leading rebounder for the Golden Eagles was Abdul-Hakim with seven and
Sam Phipps with seven.
Garrett Hawkes added six.Â
CSI finished the game with an impressive 15 blocked shots.
Joel Armotrading posted four and Phipps and
KJ Oduor each had three.
The Golden Eagles improve to 19-0 overall and 7-0 in conference play with the win. CSI travels to USU Eastern Wednesday for its next game.
