Golden Eagle Volleyball falls to #3 Salt Lake CC

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho couldn't get its offense going until the third set but it was too late as the Golden Eagles fell to Salt Lake CC 25-11, 25-16, 25-20 Wednesday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Alizaysha Sopi and Mackenna Thayne led CSI with eight kills apiece. Sopi added seven digs. Valentina Sarti-Cipriani led the Golden Eagles defensively with 10 digs.
Janke Pretorius finished with a team-high 16 assists.
CSI, now 9-10 overall and 0-3 in conference play, hosts Treasure Valley Tuesday at 6 p.m.
