TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team beat Western Wyoming 25-17, 26-24, 25-18 before falling to #12 Missouri West Plains 25-20, 25-15, 25-18 on Saturday of the Starr Corporation Invite.
The Golden Eagles had three players step up offensively in the Western Wyoming match. Alizaysha Sopi finished with 15 kills to lead CSI and added seven digs. Kait White added 11 kills and four blocks and Valentina Sarti-Cipriani had nine kills and 15 digs.
Kaulana Kalulu-Sugai reached double digits in digs with 10 along with two service aces. Kennedy Peery finished with 42 assists and three aces.
Against Missouri West Plains, Sopi and Sarti-Cipriani were solid again. Sopi finished with 11 kills and 15 digs and Sarti-Cipriani had 10 kills, four blocks and 11 digs. Mackenna Thayne added seven kills. Kalulu-Sugai led the Golden Eagles defensively with 18 digs. 
CSI, now 8-4, travels to Texas next week for a tournament.
