CSI Baseball advances to semifinals at Region 18 Tourney

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho only needed five innings to beat CCC 11-1 Wednesday and advance to the undefeated game of the Region 18 Tournament.
The Golden Eagles will take on Southern Nevada at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
Magnum Hofstetter went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI. Garrett Thompson was 2-for-3 with two RBI, Zach Schmidt was 2-for-3 with one RBI, Braxton Mills was 1-for-2 and Chase Higginson was 2-for-3 with a double.
Logan Bleazard earned the win, going five innings and giving up one earned run on six hits with four strikeouts.
The winner of Thursday's game will advance to the Region 18 Championship.
