PRICE, Utah - USU Eastern pulled off the upset of the College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team for the second time this season, beating the Golden Eagles 64-60 in a Scenic West Athletic Conference tilt Wednesday.
USUE led most of the game and always had an answer when CSI closed the gap.The Golden Eagles shot 45 percent from the field but USUE was a little better at 50 percent. CSI also shot 75 percent from the free throw line but again USUE shot 80 percent.
Locket led the Golden Eagles with 13 points, three assists and three rebounds. Taelon Martin had 10 points and seven rebounds, while Robert Whaley had 10 points and six rebounds. Madit Lueeth was high assists with four.
CSI hosts Snow College Saturday at 3 p.m.
