TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The fifth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team remained undefeated with an 80-60 win over USU Eastern Saturday to open Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Even though the Golden Eagles were out-rebounded, they out-shot USU Eastern from the field and the free-throw line. CSI shot 42 percent from the field compared to 33 percent for USUE and 77 percent from the line compared to 39 percent for USUE.
Isaiah Moses led all scorers with 21 points. He added five rebounds and seven assists.
Nate Meithof finished with 18 points and nine rebounds, while
Robert Whaley and
Hasan Abdul-Hakim each scored 11 points. Abdul-Hakim also had six assists and seven rebounds and Whaley pulled down nine boards.Â
CSI, now 11-0 overall and 1-0 in conference play, travels to Community Christian Wednesday and Thursday.
