#4 CSI Men's Basketball upsets #1 Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team handed Salt Lake CC its first loss of the season, beating the Bruins 84-81 on the road in Scenic West Athletic Conference action.
The Golden Eagles led by just one with a few seconds left on the clock but Hasan Abdul-Hakim knocked down two free throws to seal the win and keep CSI undefeated.
Guard Isaiah Moses was huge all night for the Golden Eagles, finishing with 26 points, five rebounds and three assists.  Abdul-Hakim also was solid, posting 17 points, six rebounds and two steals. Nate Meithof finished with 16 points and four rebounds. Even more impressive is that those three went 16-of-17 from the free throw line and many of those late in key times.
On the inside, Rob Whaley scored 14 points and had a team-high eight rebounds as well as three assists.
With that win, CSI has beaten the top-ranked team and the third-ranked team in the polls and will take a 16-0 record into the Christmas break.
The Golden Eagles next game will be January 2 at Treasure Valley CC.
