TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team ran past Yavapai College 69-46 Thursday top open its season at the Hilex Poly/Physician's Immediate Care Invitational.
Leading the way for the 10th-ranked Golden Eagles was Alyssa Christensen. The sophomore finished with seven points, 16 rebounds and three blocked shots. Livia Knapp led the scoring with 14 points and added four assists. Kaylee Headrick had 12 points, 12 rebounds and four steals.
Off the bench, Kali Haizlip finished with nine points and four rebounds while Tylie Jones had seven points and six rebounds. Courtney Stothard had a team-high five assists.
CSI, 1-0, takes on Justice College Friday at 5 p.m. in a scrimmage game.
