TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The fifth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team took a 58-29 halftime lead over McCook CC Saturday in the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational and coasted from there for the 96-61 win.
The Golden Eagles were whistled for 26 fouls in the contest but offset it by forcing 24 turnovers.
Britton Berrett led CSI with 17 points. He added five rebounds, two assists and three steals with no turnovers. Teammate Nate Meithof finished with 16 points and Isaiah Moses had 12 points, five rebounds and six assists.
Other Golden Eagles finishing in double figures included Joel Armotrading with 11, Robert Whaley with 10 and Garrett Hawkes with 10. Armotrading led CSI with nine rebounds.
CSI will play one more non-conference opponent Tuesday at home against Laramie County before opening Scenic West Athletic Conference play on Saturday at home.
