TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The eighth-ranked Golden Eagle Women's Basketball Team forced 36 turnovers en route to a 98-37 win over Wenatchee Valley CC Friday in the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational.
CSI took care of the ball on its end, finishing with just 14 turnovers. The Golden Eagles also out-rebounded Wenatchee Valley 44-25.
Leading the way for CSI was Kaylee Headrick with 19 points. She also had eight rebounds and four steals. Jill Lungren added 17 points and Kennedy Eskelson and Kali Haizlip combined for 21 points, five steals, five assists and eight rebounds.
Tylie Jones came within one point of a double-double, posting nine points and 10 rebounds along with five assists.Â
Also finishing with five assists was Livia Knapp along with five steals.
CSI, 7-1 overall, will play Treasure Valley CC Saturday at 5 p.m.
