CSI Women's Basketball improves to 3-0 with win in Florida

Box Score FORT MYERS, Fla. - The sixth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team led from start to finish, beating Miami Dade 73-57 Friday to open the Florida Southwestern Tournament.
The Golden Eagles held Miami Dade to just 27 percent shooting from the field while shooting over 40 percent themselves.
CSI's Courtney Stothard led the way, scoring 23 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Teammate Kaylee Headrick posted a double-double with 14 pts and 11 rebounds. She also had four assists.
Point guard Livia Knapp finished with 12 points, eight assists and two steals and had just one turnover. The other Golden Eagle scoring in double figures was Alyssa Christensen with 17 points, eight rebounds and five blocks. 
Off the bench Tylie Jones had five points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals.
CSI will take 17th-ranked Florida Southwestern Saturday at 3 p.m. MST.
