TWIN FALLS, Idaho - A 37-35 halftime lead for the College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team ended up being a 95-63 win over Eastern Wyoming Thursday in the Rob Green Classic.
The Golden Eagles picked up the pace in the second half, forcing 16 turnovers on defense and shooting 54 percent from the field on offense.
Five CSI players finished the game in double figure scoring, led by Nate Meithof's 18 points. Britton Berrett added 14, Rob Whaley 13, Hasan Abdul-Hakim 12 and Ga"khari LaCount 10.
Whaley also had six rebounds, four assists, two steals and three blocks. LaCount finished with three rebounds, three assists and four steals and Abdul-Hakim had five rebounds, three assists and four steals.
Joel Armotrading had a solid night defensively, posting eighth rebounds and three blocks.
CSI, 4-0, takes on Casper Friday at 7 p.m. The Thunderbirds defeated Tyler JC earlier Thursday 89-88 in overtime.
