TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team knocked off seventh-ranked Snow College 21-25, 25-14, 14-25, 25-16, 15-13 on sophomore day Saturday.
The Golden Eagles out-blocked and out-hit the Badgers. CSI finished the match with a .278 hitting percentage compared to .257 for Snow and posted 10 blocks compared to six for the Badgers.
Leading the way for CSI was
Valentina Sarti-Cipriani, who had a team high 17 kills along with four blocks. Also finishing with double-digit kills was
Heavenly Campbell, who also had 16 digs, three service aces and two blocks.
Kait White had seven kills and
Anastasiia Nikolnikova had four blocks. Defensively,
Miyu Tsurumaki finished with 18 digs.
Kaulana Kalulu-Sugai had a team-high 27 assists along with eight digs.Â
Jojo Robinson sparked the Golden Eagles the final two sets, finishing with six kills and one block.
CSI, now 13-11 overall and 3-4 in conference play, goes on the road for its remaining season.
