EPHRAIM, Utah - The sixth-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team kept its winning streak alive, beating Snow College 73-66 Saturday on the road in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles trailed 22-16 after the first quarter and 38-35 at the half. But a solid third quarter and big fourth helped CSI pull away, led by freshman
Emilia Nworie.
Nworie finished the game with 19 points, four rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots.
Sadie Gronning added 10 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals. The Golden Eagles top rebounder was
Ashlee Strawbridge with five. She also had two assists and nine points. Guards
Brayli Jenks and
Kyra Paniora were solid all night. They combined for 20 points and three assists.
CSI hosts 23rd-ranked Salt Lake CC Tuesday at 5 p.m.
