PRICE, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho posted two solid wins Friday, beating USU Eastern 6-2 and 5-2 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Crew Robinson came up big for the Golden Eagles in game one. He finished 4-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBI.
Noah Hennings and
Magnum Hofstetter were each 2-for-3 with a double.Â
Jake Dahle dominated on the mound for CSI, earning the win. He gave up two earned runs on six hits with eight strikeouts.
Robinson stayed hot in game two, finishing 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
Zack Petersen was 1-for-2 with a home run, Hofstetter was 1-for-1 with an RBI and
Andrew Gregersen was 1-for-2.
Tyler Curtis earned the win, pitching the final 1.2 innings and giving up no runs on no hits with one strikeout.
CSI will play one final game is this series before traveling to Southern Nevada for the Region 18 Tournament next week.
