HENDERSON, Nev. - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team earned the 19-1 win over Southern Nevada Saturday in game four of the Scenic West Athletic Conference series.
The Golden Eagles put together a 13-run fourth inning to put the game out of reach.
In all, CSI pounded out 17 hits, while giving up just four.
Pitchers
Kyler Murray,
Andrew Baughn and
Logan Bleazard combined to give up one earned run on four hits with five strikeouts and no walks. Murray earned the win.
Magnum Hofstetter was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate.
Briggs Newman also had a great day, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI.
Tyler Curtis was 2-for-4 with a double, a triple and five RBI.
Morgan Albrecht was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI.
CSI, now 10-10 overall and 1-3 in conference play, hosts Salt Lake CC next weekend.
