EPHRAIM, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball Team jumped out to a first set win against third-ranked Snow College but the Badgers answered with three straight to take the 22-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-21 win Wednesday in a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup.
Snow College kept CSI off balance with their serve and block all night. The Badgers out-blocked CSI 16-7 and forced the Golden Eagles into 11 reception errors on serve receive compared to four for the Snow.
Savannah Taosoga led the Golden Eagles offensively, finishing with 12 kills. Pia Selka added seven kills. At the net,
Didar Ozcan finished with four blocks and
Laura Valentina had three as well as six kills.
Defensively,
Miyu Tsurumaki led the Golden Eagles with 22 digs.Â
CSI, 9-7 overall and 1-3 in conference play, travels to Southern Nevada for a match on Friday.
