RANGELY, Colo. - After some extra snow fell Thursday night, the College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team beat Colorado Northwestern 4-3 in a single nine-inning game on Friday.
The two teams were originally scheduled to play a doubleheader but after the start was pushed back, the game was switched to a single game and the two teams will class at 11 a.m. Saturday for a doubleheader.
In a pitcher's duel, CSI outhit Colorado 6-5. The only Golden Eagle with double digit hits was 
Tyler Curtis who went 2-for-4 with a double. 
Crew Robinson was 1-for-3, and 
Briggs Newman and 
Andrew Gregersen were 1-for-4.
On the mound, 
Jake Dahle earned the win, going five innings and giving up three earned runs on four hits with four strikeouts. 
Ethan Horner pitched three innings, giving up no run on no hits with four strikeouts and 
Logan Bleazard came in for the save, pithing the final inning and giving up no runs on one hit.
CSI, 19-12 overall and 6-5 in conference play, takes on CNCC again Saturday.
