TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Baseball Team made quick work of Community Christian College Friday, winning game one 13-1 and game two 12-2.
The Golden Eagles benefited from three home runs in the opener.
Crew Robinson crushed two of them in a 3-for-4 plate performance and added six RBI.
Jordan Scott hit the other home run for two RBI.
Zack Petersen finished 2-for-3 at the plate and
Tyler Curtis was 1-for-1. On the mound,
Jake Dahle earned the win, going four innings and giving up no earned run on one hit with two strikeouts.
Game two was more of the same as
Tyler Curtis his a three-run home run.
Zach Schmidt was 3-for-4, Petersen was 2-for-4 with three RBI,
Braxton Mills was 2-for-3 with four RBI and
Dawson Stiefel was 2-for-2.Â
Mason Olson threw all five innings, getting the win. He gave up two earned runs on four hits with seven strikeouts.
CSI, 15-12 overall, hosts CCC Saturday at noon for the final game of the series.
