PRICE, Utah - The eighth-ranked College of Southern Idaho faced a tough USU Eastern team Thursday on the road and pulled out the 74-72 win to keep its three-game lead in the Scenic West Athletic Conference with two games left to play.
CSI led by as much as 24 points in the game but the Eagles of price shot 61 percent from the field in the second half and fought back but came up short.
The Golden Eagles had two individuals score 18 points for the game.
KT Raimey and
Amoro Lado each had 18 points and three assists.
Tsotne Tsartsidze led CSI on the boards with 11.
Daylen Williams also had a solid all around night, finishing with 11 points and eighth rebounds, while
Deng Dut had seven points and five assists.
With the win, the Golden Eagles improve to 18-2 overall and 12-1 in conference play. CSI hosts Colorado Northwestern Saturday at 3 p.m. in its final home contest of the year.
