RANGELY, Colo. - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team jumped out to a big halftime lead and kept the foot on the gas in beating Colorado Northwestern 113-71 Thursday in a Scenic West Athletic Conferenc tilt.
The Golden Eagles were able to spread the scoring, playing 17 players and posting 71 of their points off the bench.
KT Raimey finished with a team-high 16 points.
Deng Dut added 14 points, four rebounds and four assists. Other CSI players scoring in double figures included
Marcellious Lockett with 13 and
Eric Grier with 13.
Chayce Polynice finished with seven points and seven rebounds, while
Daylen Williams had six points, eight rebounds and four assists.
The Golden Eagles shot 59 percent from the field and 52 percent from long range, knocking down 14 3 pointers.
CSI, 16-2 overall and 10-1 in conference play, travels to Snow College Saturday. The Golden Eagles hold a 2 1/2 game lead over Salt Lake in the conference standings.
