TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 15th-ranked College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team rebounded from its early week loss to beat Southern Nevada 91-48 Thursday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles tied a school record set in 2005 by knocking down 16 3-pointers in the game. Kaitlyn Burgess had five of them with
Brayli Jenks hitting three. Six other players had at least one.Â
Leading the way in scoring for CSI was Burgess with 19. She added three assists.
Karmelah Dean finished with 13 points, 10 assists and four steals.
Both Jenks and
Jordan Todd posted nine-point performances with
Graci Kolka adding eight. On the boards guard
Kyra Paniora led the way with eight. She added six points and five assists. Todd,
Courtney Stothard and
Ashlee Strawbridge each had seven rebounds.
CSI, 7-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play, hosts USU Eastern Saturday at 1 p.m.
