SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho lost on the road to Salt Lake CC 25-11, 25-15, 25-7 Wednesday in a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup.
The Bruins entered the match in first place, undefeated in league play. CSI was tied for second with Snow College and USU Eastern.
The Golden Eagles struggled to get anything going from the start.
Savannah Taosoga led CSI with six kills.
Miyu Tsurumaki had 14 digs to lead CSI defensively.
Gabby Polynice finished with two blocks and
Sophia Casarez had 16 assists.
CSI travels to Western Wyoming Tuesday for a non-conference match before returning home to host Colorado Northwestern Thursday and USU Eastern Saturday.
