TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball Team's shot at the buzzer just missed and the Golden Eagles fell to Snow College 71-69 Friday in the semifinals of the Region 18 Tournament.
CSI trailed by as much as 11 points midway through the second half but clawed all the way back giving itself a chance to tie or win it on its last possession. Golden Eagle
Maurice Barnett fired up a 3-pointer with eight seconds to go that looked on the mark and just missed.
Kendall McHugh gathered the rebound but missed on his 3-point attempt at the buzzer, ending the Golden Eagles season with a 16-15 record.
Mike Hood led CSI with 26 points. He added four assists and three rebounds. Barnett added 17 points and nine rebounds.
Nehemie Kabeya led all rebounders with 10.
Kendall McHugh had a balanced game with six points, four assists and five rebounds.
Snow College will take on Salt Lake CC in the Region 18 Championship Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
