SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team beat Salt Lake CC for the second time this season, this time 61-56.
The Golden Eagles have handed the Bruins both of their Scenic Wes Athletic Conference losses. On Saturday, CSI trailed 40-29 at the half but came out of the locker room and held SLCC to just 16 second half points to come from behind for the win.
Taylia Stimpson led all scorers with 22 points. She added four rebounds, three steals and two assists. Allie Thain was the only other CSI player in double figures with 13. She also led the Golden Eagles in rebounds with seven.
Karmelah Dean posted a team-high six assists along with five points and three rebounds.
CSI returns home for its final regular season game Thursday against USU Eastern at 5 p.m.
