RANGELY, Colo. - Colorado Northwestern knocked down 13 three-point field goals en route to a 90-86 win over the College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team Saturday in scenic West Athletic Conference play.
CNCCÂ made nine in the first half, taking the 44-30 lead at the half. CSI would close within one point with less than a minute to play but couldn't complete the comeback.Â
Mike Hood led all scorers with 26 points. He added four rebounds. Other Golden Eagles scoring in double figures included
Maurice Barnett with 15 and
Stevie Smith with 14. Smith had seven rebounds and Barnett finished with six.
Sawyer Storms and
Sebastian Reynoso-Jimenez both finished with nine points and seven rebounds in the post.
CSI returns home to host Snow College Saturday at 5 p.m.
