SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team lost to Western Nebraska 25-20, 25-16, 25-18 Saturday in the Salt Lake CC Invitational.
Despite the loss, the Golden Eagles still had some individuals step up.
In her first taste of action this season,
Hannah Karrasch played the last little bit of the third set, sparking the Golden Eagles. She had three kills in her short stretch and it wasn't enough to forge a comeback but was a bright spot for the future.Â
Taylor Burnham led CSI with 14 kills. She added 10 digs and three blocks. In the middle
Alexis Mareko finished with four blocks and
Letarona Mose had five kills and two blocks.
Kylie Baumert led the defense with 16 digs, while
Quinn Kellogg had 21 assists and nine digs.
CSI, now 4-4, returns home to host the Starr Corporation Invitational Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
