PRICE, Utah – The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team led for most of the final three quarters, but were unable to hold off a late rally from Snow College, losing 46-44 in the semifinals of the Region 18 Tournament.
The Golden Eagles started off slow, falling behind 12-4 to start the game before ending the quarter on an 8-0 run to tie up the game. CSI would take the lead in the second quarter and hold on to it until the last minute. The Badgers hit a long jumper with five seconds left to win the game.
Finley Garnett led CSI with 12 points and six rebounds. She added two block and two steals. Brooke Haney finished with 10 points and four rebounds. Ka'Maree Donald added six points, four rebounds and three assists.
The Golden Eagles finish the season 19-12 overall.
