TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball Team held Williston State under 10 points in each quarter en route to a 91-28 win Friday in the Coca Cola Invitational.
The Golden Eagles shot 51 percent from the field and 78 percent from the free-throw line while holding Williston to 16 percent from the field. CSI also out-rebounded the Tetons 58 to 37.
Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was
Finley Garnett with 20 points. The sophomore knocked down 4-of-5 3-pointers and made all four free throws. She also added five rebounds and four steals.
Other CSI players in double-digit scoring included
Macie Knapp with 15,
Sierra Davis with12,
Allie Thayne with 10 and
Taylia Stimpson with 10. The Golden Eagles leading rebounder was Davis with 10.
Jordan Todd had eight and Thayne had seven.
Petra Farkas scored four points, pulled down four rebounds and had eight assists.
CSI, 7-3 overall, host Edmonds College Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Earlier Friday, Salt Lake defeated Edmonds 94-72.
