TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The second-ranked College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team beat College of Southern Nevada 25-16, 25-8, 23-25, 25-10 behind a dominating offensive performance from
Airi Miyabe.
The sophomore outside hitter finished the match with 19 kills and just one hitting error. She added two aces, six digs and three blocks.
As a whole the Golden Eagles hit .353, posting only seven total hitting errors in the three sets they won.
Alexis Mareko and
Jovana Vukcevic each had eight kills and three blocks for CSI.
Kylie Gibson added nine kills and
Letarona Mose had four kills and five blocks.
Sean Garvin ran the offense, posting 40 assists. Defensively,
Kylie Baumert led the Eagles with 23 digs.
Makayla Bradford added 11 digs and
Sacha Legros had eight digs and three service aces.Â
CSI, now 17-1 overall and 3-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play, hosts #4 Snow College Saturday at 3 p.m.
