TWIN FALLS, Idaho - One week removed from a 93-90 overtime loss to USU Eastern, the College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team beat the Eagles from Price 76-72.
CSI led by as much as 16 and was able to hold off a late rally by USU Eastern. The Golden Eagles led almost 38 minutes of the game.
Tiena Afu dominated inside, finishing with 23 points and 14 rebounds.
Mallory Lapoole added 11 points and four rebounds, while
Sydney Clark had nine points and three assists.
Neither team shot well from long distance but CSI made its shots count at the charity stripe, where it went 22-of-25 for the game (88 percent).
CSI, now 20-7 overall and 5-4 in league play, travels to Salt Lake Thursday.
