LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team bounced back with a 91-53 win Saturday against Grays Harbor one day after falling to Central Arizona 75-74 in the Las Vegas Tournament.
The Golden Eagles dominated the boards and shot well from the field to run past Grays Harbor.Â
Brooke Haney led CSI with 16 points. She added three assists.
Mallory Lapoole added 15 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Kaela McClure and
Petra Farkas each had 13 points. McClure added six assists and five steals.
The Golden Eagles shot 48 percent from the field and 44 percent from beyond the arc.
Against Central Arizona, CSI led 58-44 going into the fourth quarter but Central Arizona outscored the Golden Eagles 31-17 in the fourth quarter to get the one-point win.
Petra Farkas led CSI with 14 points and six rebounds. Lapoole and Haney each added 12 points.Â
The Golden Eagles, now 11-6 overall, hosts Western Wyoming Thursday at 7:30 p.m. before opening Scenic West Athletic Conference play Saturday against Salt Lake CC.
