TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team avenged an early season loss, beating Indian Hills 75-69 Saturday in the final night of the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational.
One night after Indian Hills shot 50 percent from the field and 3-point line, the Golden Eagles held the Warriors to 17 percent from long range and 35 percent from the field. CSI also out-rebounded Indian Hills 70-57, pulling down 26 offensive boards.
Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was
Malik Porter. The sophomore led CSI in every stat category, finishing with 19 points, 19 rebounds, three assists, five blocks and two steals and had no turnovers on the night.Â
Coleman Sparling was a spark defensively foe the Golden Eagles, pulling down 10 rebounds and blocking three shots.
Other CSI players scoring in double figures included

Jaxon Edelmayer (10) and
Coreyoun Rushin (10).
Brayden Parker also had a solid game, finishing with seven points, nine rebounds and two blocked shots.
The Golden Eagles, now 15-3 overall, open Scenic West Athletic Conference play next Saturday when they host #7 Salt Lake CC.
