RIVERTON, Wyo. - The third-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team evened its record by beating Central Wyoming 88-77 Saturday in the Central Wyoming Tournament.
The Golden Eagles dominated the boards, out-rebounding Central Wyoming 57-46. Leading the way for CSI was
Malik Porter. The sophomore big man finished the game with 10 points and 18 rebounds along with two assists and two steals.
Coreyoun Rushin added 12 points and eight rebounds. Other Golden Eagles in double-figure scoring included
Coleman Sparling with 10 points and
Jaxon Edelmayer with 14 points.
CSI travels to Scottsbluff, Neb. Friday and Saturday for the Western Nebraska Tournament. The Golden Eagles will have a chance to avenge their 3-point loss to the Cougars.
