SHERIDAN, Wyo. - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball team held a nine-point lead midway through the fourth quarter but watched it slip away and Sheridan knocked down a 3-pointer with three seconds to play to secure the 59-56 win over the Golden Eagles.
CSI forced Sheridan into 32 turnovers for the game but committed 26 of its own.
The Golden Eagles were led by
Denajha Kie with 18 points. She added three rebounds and two assists.
Bailey Hawkins again led CSI on the boards, posting eight rebounds along with four points and four steals.
Mallory Lapoole finished with eight points and three rebounds before fouling out.Â
CSI, now 1-1, travels to Western Wyoming Nov. 13th for its next game.
