TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The 3rd-ranked College of Southern Idaho Men's Basketball team beat Treasure Valley 108-75 Tuesday in a non-conference matchup.
The Golden Eagles shot 53 percent from the floor compared to 35 percent for the Chukars. CSI struggled to take care of the basketball, posting 22 turnovers to just 11 for TVCCÂ but won the battle of the boards 67-28.
Jaxon Edelmayer led CSI with 18 pts.
Andrea Lo Biondo added 15 points and five rebounds.
Coreyoun Rushin finished with a double-double (10 points, 13 rebounds).
Roberto Gittens had a solid all-around game for the Golden Eagles, finishing with 11 points, seven assists and six rebounds.Â
Other Golden Eagles scoring in double figures included
David Walker with 13 points and
Thomas Miles with 10 points.
CSI, now 6-1 overall, travels to Yuma, Ariz. for a tournament at Arizona Western College Friday and Saturday.
