RANGELY, Colo. - The College of Southern Idaho Women's Basketball jumped out to a 27-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back, eventually beating the Spartans 94-44 Saturday in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
The Golden Eagles shot 54 percent from the field for the game and had five players score in double figures and 12 score overall.
Tiena Afu and
Jane Nelson led the charge with 14 points and six rebounds apiece.
Meghan Hughes,
Chesney Campbell and
Mallory Lapoole each added 10 points. Lapoole also had eight rebounds.
CSI improves to 17-4 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
