PENDLETON, Ore. - The College of Southern Idaho Volleyball team lost its first set of the season but still dominated the other sets to earn the 25-16, 25-16, 22-25, 25-14 win over Blue Mountain CC in a non-conference matchup Wednesday.
Airi Miyabi led the way for the Golden Eagles, finishing with 19 kills and seven digs.
Jovana Vukcevic added 10 kills, six digs, two blocks and two aces.
JoJo Kruize had a solid night, posting eight kills and 15 digs. Setter
Morgan Weatherwax led the team in assists with 39 and libero
Makayla Bradford had 12 digs.
The Golden Eagles travel to Salt Lake Friday and Saturday for a tournament. CSI faces #23 Laramie County at noon and top-ranked Miami-Dade at 4 p.m. Friday. On Saturday, the Golden Eagles take on #15 Northwest College at 11 a.m. and Otero Junior College at 1 p.m. Saturday.
